BVLGARI
Truly one of the world’s premier luxury lifestyle brands, Bulgari
was founded by Greek jeweler Sotirios Vulgaris in Greece. The brand name
typically appears in ancient Roman style text as BVLGARI, in keeping with
Sotirios’ wishes. Though the original Bvlgari shop can still be seen
in Paramythia, today Bvlgari goods range from distinctive jewellery to exceptional
fragrances for men and women.
Bulgari’s popular colognes for men are summarised here for your reference:
- Aqua Pour Homme – launched in 2005, Aqva Pour Homme is a
masculine aquatic scent packed with refreshing energy. The scent features
tones of orange leaf, seagrass, petitgrain, amber and finishes with woodsy
notes. Bvlgari launched special, limited edition of Aqua Pour Homme in
2007 – Aqua Pour Homme Edition Limitee features a light dash of mandarin,
petitgrain blossom and a splash of precious ambergris. And, new for 2008,
Bvlgari’s Aqua Pour Homme Marine was launched, featuring fresh highlights
of neroli, white cedar and grapefruit.
- BLV Pour Homme – introduced in 2001, BLV Pour Homme is a
spiced, woody fragrance featuring ginger, cardamom, tobacco blossom, juniper
and cedar. Based on the success of BLV Pour Homme, Bvlgari launched BLV
Notte Pour Homme in 2004. This woody oriental combines lavender, dark chocolate,
galanga and neroli with mint, anise, cedar and pomegranate.
- Bvlgari Pour Homme – the original scent for men from Bulgari
was released in 1996. Featuring lavender, mandarin, tea, bergamot and black
currant mixed with cyclamen, coriander, pepper, rosewood and geranium and
finished with tonka bean, cedar, vetiver and oakmoss. The sophisticated
Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir debuted in 2006, featuring a distinct tone of Darjeeling
blended with papyrus and warm amber.
- Bvlgari Extreme – a classic modern fragrance for men released in
1999. Bvlgari Extreme features grapefruit, neroli, lavender, petite grain,
pepper, rosewood, iris, cedar and nulu balm.
- Bvlgari Black – Bvlgari’s first unisex scent, Bvlgari
Black was released in 1998 and features a crisp blend of green tea, sandalwood,
cedar, leather and vanilla.
Bvlgari merchandise has long been popular with counterfeiters – it’s
distinctive style, packaging and labels have made it relatively easy to pass
off fakes as the real deal. Thus, when shopping for Bvlgari men’s cologne
online, you should always take care to buy from reputable merchants who are
willing and able to vouch for the authenticity of their goods. For the best
deals on Bvlgari cologne, look for gift sets that include coordinating products,
like shower gel, shampoo and aftershave.
